I made a BODHI shirt… honestly, just for fun. But, it has allowed me to reflect on the real meaning behind my company and how that’s evolved from when I started to now.
Bodhi, translates awakening, or enlightenment.
I chose the name for my company back in 2020 – I had just gotten laid off from my job due to the pandemic, decided to get my 200 hours in yoga training since no one was hiring, and came across the word in my Sanskrit manual.
At the time, I just thought it sounded cool.

Fast forward to last year, 2024. I lost my fur-baby, Zeke, 1 month before delivering my son. Facing death, and birth, so close together caused me to go down a spiritual journey of curiosity.
I know this can be a touchy subject. But, turning to meditation, silencing the thoughts in our head, and connecting with my deeper self, has allowed me to realize that naming my company, BODHI, means far more than I realized at the time.

Now, my life work is about translating Bodhi into the home. And, I’ll admit – at times it can feel hypocritical. Contradictory.
Interior design is such a materialist, and trend-focused industry. It’s hard to not get caught up in the typical interior design-approach, of creating Pinterest-Worthy homes.
But what is interior design about, if not creating aesthetically pleasing homes that people can pin to their “Future Home” boards on Pinterest?
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more — more stuff, more style, more square footage. But I believe real design starts when we slow down and ask: What kind of space will help me feel like myself again?

What lights you up—music, art, movement, nature, travel?
What did you love as a child, before the world told you to be productive instead of playful?
Your home should make space for that.
For joy. For reflection. For the pieces of you that deserve room to breathe.
A well-designed home isn’t just beautiful—it’s deeply personal. It supports who you are and who you’re becoming. It invites you to slow down, disconnect, and return to yourself.
It’s truly an honor to be a guide to help you get there. My design process is evolving—to foster more inner reflection before we ever choose a paint swatch. Because when we start from within, the spaces we create don’t just look good—they feel like home.
